Taking Li-Ion battery capacity higher than ever before
Xtend is a breakthrough product that boosts initial battery capacity under a wide range of cycling rates, while preserving battery integrity and safety.
CNT-based and featuring a high internal capacity, Xtend is added to graphite anode to enhance anode capacity. Its unique carbon structure enables smooth blending with graphite. The highly developed surface area of Xtend significantly increases anode capacity with a very low CNT weight load of < 1.0%. Extremely stable, similar to graphite, the material parameters of Xtend do not hinder anode function during the cycling process.
CENS products are implemented as a single, plug-in device. Manufacturers of battery cells can seamlessly integrate CENS into the production line without changing their manufacturing process.
